south downs walk
7th September 2016
we managed to pick the three hottest days in August for this, and each day with one less dog as they found the heat too much for them. Well done Ruby for bouncing through all three days!
We walked from Pycombe to Amberley at a very leisurely pace carrying loads of water over the three days. The views were spectacular, the descents were the hardest, and the chalk and flint tracks were hard work! We all enjoyed it, had lots of breaks admiring the scenery and wildflowers and loads of chat and catching up with each other. A good experience for all three of us.
